The driver is fine. His eye finally opened and despite being sore he's fine and came home yesterday. As for the worse of the two, we were notified today, he will not have any brain damage. His spine is fractured in a few places but his limbs all move and he responds well. Had several stitches around his head, but the good news is he will be okay. Thank you guys so much for your prayers and thoughts! Also, for the driver, his brother in law and I made him a get-well plaque out of various parts from the inside of my old transmission which we tore apart last night. Hope he appreciates it, I lost a lot of blood in the prcocess lol anyway, like I said thank you guys so much, they'll be just fine!
In return, a picture of the dream life.

Didn't see the original story but I hope your friends make a quick recovery. I'm sure he will have some PT in his future.

Yeah it was rough, we went to the place they had the accident, and made guesses to how it happened since the driver blacked out. Looks like what happened is like he said, he hit black ice, went off the road sideways through a blueberry field just as it came to the treeline, the tracks stop where he started flipping, in the process of flipping he both knocked down and broke through a pretty big tree and then came to a final resting place about another 20 feet that direction, upside-down between two other trees. They're super lucky.
